<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server base computing system for reducing the amount of data communications by scroll operations of a display screen of a client device and improving the operation response. <P>SOLUTION: A web page P is obtained by a server, and drawing data G is generated according to the display size Hc×Wc of a client, in response to a web page acquisition request from the client. The drawing data G is responded and transmitted to the client together with the web page P entire size Hp×Wp and the display location Xc, Yc of the drawing data G on the page P. The client displays the drawing data G of the web page P and displays local scroll bars SBv, SBh indicating the display range of the drawing data G in relation to the entire size Hp×Wp of the page P. The display range indicated by the bars is changed according to operations of the scroll bars SBv, SBh and the operation is ended. A display location change request describing the display location Xc, Yc after changing the range is transmitted to the server.
