PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating an asbestos-containing spraying material that can effectively contain asbestos by forming a coating film excelling in non-combustibility. SOLUTION: The method of treating the asbestos-containing spraying material includes a first step (S1) of infiltrating a first treatment liquid into the asbestos-containing spraying material and solidifying it, and a second step (S2) of applying a second treatment liquid to the asbestos-containing spraying material and solidifying it to form the coating film that covers the surface of the asbestos-containing spraying material. The second treatment liquid contains copolymerized resin of chlorine-based synthetic resin and non-chlorine-based synthetic resin as a main component, and the copolymerized resin contains chlorine at 20-50 wt.%.
