PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a highly hydrogenated vinyl aromatic/conjugated diene block copolymer. SOLUTION: The vinyl aromatic/conjugated diene block copolymer obtained by the method of production has a hydrogenation level of greater than 90% and has advantageous physical properties such as high transparency, high glass transition temperature, low water absorption, strength, toughness, weatherability, melt processability, and low double refraction. Therefore, it is suitable for applications such as optical disk articles, assemblies, thermoformed articles, extruded articles, injection molded articles, and thin films, and is suitable for applications in the fields of optical disks, thin films for optics, light guide plates, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
