PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a highly hydrogenated vinyl aromatic/conjugated diene block copolymer. SOLUTION: The vinyl aromatic/conjugated diene block copolymer obtained by the method of production has a hydrogenation level of greater than 90% and has advantageous physical properties such as high transparency, high glass transition temperature, low water absorption, strength, toughness, weatherability, melt processability, and low double refraction.
