<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high COP regardless of changes in operating conditions, in a refrigerating device including a compressor constituted of a plurality of compression mechanisms mechanically connected by one drive shaft and performing a two-stage compression refrigerating cycle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An air conditioner (1) including a refrigerant circuit (10) to which the compressor (11) having three rotary type compression mechanisms (31, 32, 33) connected by one drive shaft (35) is connected and performing the two-stage compression refrigerating cycle includes switching mechanisms (18, 19) each changing a suction volume ratio which is a ratio of a suction volume between a low stage side compression mechanism and a high stage side compression mechanism of the compressor (11).
