PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium supplement method which gets a game machine supplemented with a medium having a value different from the game value to enable the maintenance of players' interests in games over a long period, and to provide a medium housing body for housing the medium. SOLUTION: In the medium supplement method and the medium housing body, when supplemented with a special value medium, the game machine which offers a special value medium having a special value different from the game value is equipped with the medium housing body, mountable on or demountable from the game machine, previously housing the special value medium. The medium housing body is mounted on the game machine with a case body and a lid body so fixed as to be separable or non-separable and so, can block the pulling of the special value medium willfully out of the game medium housing body after the machine is supplemented with it. This can prevent the players from grasping the contents of the special value before the acquisition of the special value medium, thereby enabling the maintenance of players' interests in games over a long period.
