The package (1) has covering parts (30, 31) fixed at side parts (17-20). One of the covering parts (30) is provided with adhesive devices i.e. adhesive strips (38, 39) for connecting the covering part with the other covering part (31). Tear perforation units (36, 37) are provided in a transition area between the covering parts and the side parts for selective separation of the covering parts from the side parts. A device is provided for formation of a carrying bag from the package. The device is provided as a gripping element or a device for gripping and carrying the package. The package is provided with a retaining and securing device made of a cardboard, paper board, paper and foamed plastic.
