PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a perfluoroalkyl sulfonic acid salt having a reduced fluorine content in a high yield by a simple method. SOLUTION: The method for producing the perfluoroalkyl sulfonic acid salt comprises adding to at least one compound selected from perfluoroalkyl sulfonic acid salts represented by the formula: RfSO3-M (wherein Rf is a 1-4C perfluoroalkyl group and M is Li, Na or K) an organic solvent dissolving the compound to form a solution fluid and adding an adsorbent adsorbing a fluorine ion to the solution fluid.
