<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device that enables space-saving and uniform illumination when a plurality of lines of transfer means are provided adjacently. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device 1 is arranged above the plurality of lines of transfer lines 3 which transfer PTP sheets 2 in a parallel manner and includes an illumination unit 11 which is provided around the photographing position P of the transfer lines 3a, 3b and a reflection unit 12 for reflecting illumination light from the illumination unit 11, wherein the illumination unit 11 includes upward light sources 23, 31 directed upward and a center-oriented light source 24 directed toward the center of the illumination unit 11. A straight illuminator 22 including the upward light source 31 is provided between the transfer lines 3. The straight illuminator 22 includes a leftward light source 32a directed toward the transfer line 3a and a rightward light source 32b directed toward the transfer line 3b.
