<p>The method involves using analog and/or binary sensors and/or actuators, preferably ASI-slaves, which are networked by a bus system. The control of the bus system is performed by a ASI-master, consisting of an analog part for transmitting and receiving an ASI level, as well as a logically separate digital part for transmitting and receiving digital levels. A processing of the ASI data is performed by a processing computer. Several analog parts (13, 14, 15) are coupled with a single digital part (20), and form respectively individual bus segments (7, 8, 9). In respect to the digital part, all analog parts together have the same characteristics have, as an individual analog part.</p> |
