In order to stop objects which can float, it is proposed that a housing (1) which can fly with a supporting body (2) located therein, around which catching cords (3) which can float are wound, which have weights (5) which can float at the end and are released when the housing (1) is removed from the supporting body (2), be deployed in the vicinity of or directly into the target from flight. The catching cords (3) then lie on or adjacent to the surface of the water such that, when at least one of the catching cords (3) is moved over or drawn in by the object or parts thereof, the catching cords (3) are looped smoothly around the propulsion system or the like of the object, as a result of which the propulsion system, rudder or the like of the object is blocked. |
