<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device (10) has a clamping unit (11) comprising a clamping element (12) that is characterized by a modular exchangeable clamping insert, which contains the clamping element. The clamping element is pivotably and movably connected with the clamping insert around an axis perpendicular to a clamping direction. The clamping element has a clamping ring (15), a connecting rod (13) and a cone piece, which is attached to a cone of the clamping ring. The clamping unit has a hydraulic driving piston that is arranged parallel to the clamping element. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Pulling down clamping device for internally clamping a workpiece or a pallet to be processed in a borehole. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The clamping device temporarily allows execution of different clamping processes, and enables utilization of the clamping ring as a contact element for the workpiece in a cost-effective manner.
