The self-locking differential gear (1) has a differential cage (3) and two drive shafts (7,8) which have bevel drive gears (10,11) that are arranged in the differential cage. The bevel pinions (12,13) are supported at the differential cage in a pivoted manner. The bevel pinions have a piston section that is formed as worm gear (14).
