<p>Soft capsules comprise a capsule shell and a filling material with at least an active material, where the shell is formed from polymer material that is thermoplastically processable by melt extrusion and the filling material is solid under 21[deg] C and exhibits a dropping point of greater than 37[deg] C. An independent claim is included for the production of soft capsules, comprising (a) producing a capsule shell from a thermoplastically processable polymer material by melt extrusion, (b) providing a filling material by melting in such a manner that the filling material is pumpable, (c) producing soft capsules by rotary die method, where the melted filling material is dosed into the soft capsule and then the capsule is cooled at ambient temperature.</p> |
