PURPOSE: An energy collection method and a gas turbine electric power system are provided to control the operation state of the gas turbine by extracting the air from the compressor and collect energy from the flow of the air extracted by the compressor. CONSTITUTION: An energy collection method comprises following steps. The air extracted from the compressor of the gas turbine is aligned within a cooling unit(92). The extracted air is compressed by the compressor and is not guided to the combustion chamber of the gas turbine. The extracted air is cooled within the cooling unit(94). The cooled and extracted air is expanded within a turbo-expander to generate electricity(96).
