A bracket 2 for securing a glazing or window in an aperture in a door, the bracket comprises a first bracket part 5 for securing to the door and a second bracket part (6 Fig 5a) for assembly with or connection to the first bracket part 5 to define a seating for the window. Preferably both bracket parts have a flange 9 17 that are parallel in use to define the seating therebetween. The second part may be a Z shape and have portions that enter holes in the first bracket part. The first bracket part 5 may have a body 8 that has projections 10 extending from either side to overlap the door panel. Support portions (12 Fig 3) may also extend from the body and enter the fabric of the door surrounding the opening. The bracket or clip may be used in a fire door. |
