<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically determine an optimum processing resolution in accordance with an input terminal and an output terminal to be selected. <P>SOLUTION: When Source is set as an output setting resolution, an input setting resolution is set as the processing resolution. When a display device connected to output terminals can cope with all resolutions, since Source is set as the output setting resolution, even when the input terminal combined with the output terminal is changed, the processing resolution can be automatically changed to the optimum resolution. When others other than Source are set as the output setting resolution, the output setting resolution is determined to be the processing resolution.
