PURPOSE: An image photographing device and an image control method thereof are provided to use 2D image sensor and sense a reflected signal from a signal, thereby displaying 3D image. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(130) controls transmitting/receiving timing of a light about a light source and an image sensor. The control unit receives pixel data from the image sensor. An image processor(132) obtains delay phase of transmitting/receiving signal from pixel data by unit pixel of a first pixel group and a second pixel group. The image processor obtains distance with an object. A display unit displays 3D image by the image processor.
