A massaging belt comprises a base-piece 1 having elastic strands 14 extending across the front to handles 15, so that the belt can be alternately tightened and released. The strands pass through guide loops 20, 21, 22 formed by fabric strips 23 attached to the belt so that the strands are held closely against the abdomen and perform a massaging action as they are stretched and released. The strands are attached to lugs 10 and pass under rollers adjacent their free ends. A number of stiffeners 5 may be provided to prevent the belt folding.</p> |
