PURPOSE: A display method in an electronic device and a device thereof are provided to turn a display on/off partly. CONSTITUTION: A processor(100) confirms a particular area of a screen selected by a user. A display unit turns the display of the particular area on/off on a full screen according to the control of the processor. The processor determines whether the display is turned on/off. If the display is turned on, the processor supplies a current to a pixel corresponding to the particular area. If the display is turned off, the processor stops current supply to the pixel corresponding to the particular area.
