<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for recognizing surface profiles of a conductive material which prevent a reduction in precision of recognition, show small variance of the precision of recognition, prevent a user from feeling uncomfortableness when using, and prevent the other people from looking at the surface profile of a subject to be recognized other than on the device body. <P>SOLUTION: The device for recognizing surface profiles of the conductive material has a carrying means 21 for carrying a medium 10 inside the device 1 for recognizing the surface profiles, a charging means 6 for charging the medium 10, a toner image forming means 7 for forming toner images by developing an electrostatic latent image retained as reading information corresponding to the surface profile of the conductive material, an information generating means 8 for generating the profile information on the toner image, and an output means for outputting the profile information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
