LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display having a function of a transparent mode and a reflection mode is provided to improve optical use efficiency in a transparent mode and a reflective mode. CONSTITUTION: A pixel electrode is arranged in a first transparent substrate(2). A second transparent substrate(1) faces with the first transparent substrate. A color filter(7) faces with the pixel electrode. The color filter is arranged in the second transparent substrate. A liquid crystal layer is arranged between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate. The pixel electrode has a light reflecting unit in which a reflection layer is arranged and a light transmitting unit.
