A method of setting a car alarm system includes saving a program of setting algorithms of various car alarm systems in the memory of PC system unit. At activation of setting mode the required program of setting is sent to a send-receive HID-device. The information is converted into the information suitable for processing by the system controller. The system controller records this information in the nonvolatile memory of system unit.
