A cooled roll contains two pins with central inlets for supply and discharge of water, a sleeve, which forms a body of roll, a cylindrical drum that is mounted inside the sleeve coaxially with it and has a bottom from the side of water supply, as well as the ends of flanges with cuts and on a cylindrical surface of rib from one flange to another. The ribs are made in the form of a spiral winding, and the rib height is equal to a half of the difference between the inner diameter of sleeve and the outer diameter of drum and the flange with cuts are rigidly connected to the sleeve. |
