orthesis for correction of locomotorium deformations

摘要

An orthesis for correction of locomotorium deformations relates to medical equipment, namely to orthesis, and can be used at manufacturing of armchairs-seats to disabled persons with locomotorium deformations and pathologies caused by severe diseases of the backbone. The orthesis comprises a pillow for sitting, the left and right lateral walls and back of sitting which are made as shaped integral frame of elastic material at a load of 40-50 kPa at compression up to 40 %; the shape of a skeleton repeats the individual form of the patient locomotorium in corrected state, on internal foamed polyurethane surface of the frame a monolayer of silicon rubber is applied. On the outer frame surface the fixing elements for patient are fixed made in the form of belts with fasteners or tapes "Velkro"; the back height depends on backbone deformation and can be at a level from lumbar o cervicothoracic departments. Such construction allows to raise the efficiency of rehabilitation of patients with severe disorders of locomotor functions and to improve quality of their life.
