FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: multipolar discharger for lightning protection and/or surge voltage protection serves for protecting devices and installation in equipment for transmitting, processing and displaying information and consists of a bearing unit in form of a transmission type terminal, plug-in modules which can be fitted into the bearing unit, and from apparatus for mounting onto a carrying bus. In the bearing unit there are spring-loaded contacts for the corresponding plug-in module and the plug-in module had a housing in form of a jacket, where there is at least one conducting plate which carries protective elements inside the said housing. Inside the housing (13) of the plug-in module (3) there is bearing frame (12). On corresponding outer sides of the bearing frame (12) there is at least one conducting plate (10), between which there is a third conducting plate (11) held by the bearing frame (12). The necessary stray current paths and air sections are provided through the bearing frame (12) between parallel conducting plates (10, 11) and protective elements (22) on the said plates. Further, the housing (13) encircles and holds the structure which is made on a sandwich principle and consists of conducting plates (10, 11) and from the bearing frame (12). ^ EFFECT: minimum number of working components and working volume of the discharger and cheaper manufacturing, increased resistance to pulse current. ^ 18 cl, 8 dwg |
