METHOD OF MEASURING LAND PLOTS ALONG NEAR-CHANNEL FLOODPLAINS FOR ANALYSIS OF ARRANGEMENT OF SAID PLOTS

FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: length of tributary and catchment basin are measured. Tributaries are distributed into distinctive groups based on presence of vegetation cover on the catchment basins of a river and its tributaries. The effect of distinctive orographic features of the relief and landscape of tributaries on the water basins is assessed. A water protection zone of a river or its tributary is selected from the entire catchment basin. Land plots are also selected in the project for establishing the water protection zone on maps in land register categories and proprietary forms. Geometric centres for each land plot are determined on maps of the water protection zone of a river or its tributary. The distance from a source is determined, as well as distance from the banks to the centre of each land plot. Values of area of each land plot are obtained from the land register data or from maps of water protection zones. Graphical and/or mathematical presentation of distributions of land plots are made based on distance from the source and distance from the bank. Measurement results are grouped from banks of a river or its tributary, from plots owned by municipal entities and business entities, as well as on land register categories and diversity of plant species in the vegetation cover. ^ EFFECT: increased functionality and accuracy of analysis. ^ 4 cl, 15 dwg
