PURPOSE: A bidirectional plug having a connection blocking unit is provided to prevent short circuit by blocking the connection of power terminal to a tension grounding pin through the connection of a grounding terminal to a tension grounding pin. CONSTITUTION: A power terminal(V) among four terminals is separated from the four terminal in a length direction, and a connection blocking unit(20) is installed at an internal power terminal(V1) of two divided power terminals. When a plug is inserted into a connection port(30), four connection pins(31-34) of the connection port is respectively connected to two data terminals(D+,D-) and a grounding terminal(G). A tension grounding pin(35) of the connection port is connected to the grounding terminal. A second tension grounding pin(36) is connected to the connection blocking unit.
