PURPOSE: A separation preventing unit for a railway vehicle is provided to prevent a big accident when a railway vehicle is separated from a rail by stopping the railway vehicle using a rotating member. CONSTITUTION: A separation preventing unit(100) for a railway vehicle comprises a bracket(110), a rotating member(120), a movable member, and a stopper. The bracket is coupled to a box and has a separation preventing part(111) protruded downward. The rotating member is arranged to face with the separation preventing part and is rotatably coupled to the bracket using hinges. The movable member is located in the inner side of the separation preventing part and fixes the rotating member to be horizontal. The stopper fixes the rotation of the rotating member. |
