PURPOSE: A horizontal opening/closing safety nozzle for a fountain is provided to prevent protrusion of an opening/closing to the upper side of the bottom side and breakage of the safety nozzle. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal opening/closing safety nozzle for a fountain comprises: a nozzle body(110); a plurality of pieces(121,122) which are engaged each other; grooves(121a,121b) which are formed at the outside of the pieces; a horizontal opening/closing unit(120) formed of band spring(123); an upper cover(130) which covers upper end portion of the nozzle body.
