<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector for reducing flickering of a projected image, due to an automatic trapezoidal distortion correction function. <P>SOLUTION: The projector 1 is provided with: a fluctuation detection part (angle detection part 22) for starting detection of a fluctuation state of the projector 1 in response to a prescribed instruction signal; an angle detection part 22 for detecting an angle of installation of the projector 1; a distortion correction part (trapezoidal distortion correction part 33) for correcting a trapezoidal distortion in accordance with the angle of installation detected by the angle detection part 22 after the fluctuation detection part detects a fluctuation convergence state as a state where the fluctuation of the projector 1 converges and a first time has passed while maintaining the rock convergence state; and a control unit 20 for completing detection of the rock state by the rock detection part when a second time has passed after the trapezoidal distortion is corrected by the distortion correction part while maintaining the rock convergence state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
