PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the traceability system of lumber capable of surely tracing and investigating lumber. SOLUTION: The traceability system of lumber stores lumber history data (3) storing history of various processes executed for the lumber and end surface pattern data (4c to 4g) recording end surface patterns appearing on the end surfaces of the lumber after being subjected to various processes in association with each other. End surface patterns appearing in the end surfaces of actual lumber and the end surface pattern data (4c to 4g) are collated with each other, and thus history of various processes executed for the actual lumber is traced.
