PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet for direct type backlight units, which solves the problems of direct type backlight units that moire and parts without a pattern are to be eliminated, allows little visual recognition of unevenness of the surface and is capable of radiating light uniformly without moire and leaked light. SOLUTION: A parent optical sheet having irregularities in the surface is prepared, and a master mold is formed by copying the irregularities of the surface with the parent optical sheet as a mold.
