<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safer entrance side structure of traffic facilities for tightly gripping a gripping part, without impairing an advantage of a tip gripping member also serving as an inner column. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this entrance side structure of the traffic facilities, the gripping member 3 also serving as the inner column is arranged on the side of an entrance 2 of a vehicle 1. The gripping member 3 is provided with the gripping part 3d by a gripping window 3c of leaving a plurality of connecting parts 3b between a column plate 3a and itself in the tip part vicinity of the column plate 3a extending to the traffic facility inside from the entrance 2 side. The column plate 3a and the gripping part 3d are composed of an integral molding member, and the gripping window 3c is formed of a boring machining part of opening the whole periphery of the gripping part 3d.
