PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow detector, which allows to easily remove dust collected between a flapper shaft and a flapper, and is easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: The flow detector includes a body 20 including an inflow port 21 and an outflow port 22, and having a pair of transparent side plate 60 between the inflow port 21 and the outflow port 22. Within the body 20, a wiper blade 1 including a pair of wiper members 3 abutting on the transparent side plate 60 is fixed to the wiper shaft 31. The flapper 10 which detects the flow rate of a fluid flowing from the inflow port 21 to the outflow port 22 is provided rockably on the wiper blade 1 through the flapper shaft 11.
