<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system for an apartment, which can prevent a suspicious person from unjustly entering the building together with other persons at the unlatching time of an entrance automatic door. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The intercom system for the apartment includes: a collected entrance machine installed in the collected entrance; a room master machine installed in each sitting room; a weight sensor before entry, installed before the collected entrance machine; and a weight sensor after the entry, installed at a location behind the front automatic door at the apartment entrance. The collected entrance machine includes: a comparison unit which compares a weight before entry measured by the weight sensor before entry and a weight after entry measured by the weight sensor after entry; and a reporting unit which gives alarm when discriminating that the weight after entry is larger than the weight before entry by the comparison unit.
