<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of implementing a simply configured security system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A prowler intrusion determination part 30 of an information processing apparatus 3 determines that a user has entered a security area if a response determination part 36 determines that the user's cellphone has responded to a response check signal transmitted by a radio communication device at a change in a human detection device from a state of detecting no humans to a state of detecting any humans. Meanwhile, the prowler intrusion determination part 30 determines that a prowler has entered the security area if the response determination part 36 determines that the user's cellphone has not responded at a change in the human detection device from a state of detecting no humans to a state of detecting any humans.
