<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing tool for a ring-like clip, which is simplified and reduced in size, has an application flexibility, and is improved in work efficiency, and also to provide a fixing method therefor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This fixing tool has: a guide sleeve 21 having a first straight part 26, a tapered part 27 jointed to the first straight part with the diameter becoming smaller as it separates therefrom, and a second straight part 28 jointed to the tapered part 27 on the opposite side of the first straight part 26 in its inner side, with an engagement part 32 engageable with an opening part 13 formed at an end on the second straight part 28 side; a guide part 48 sliding inside the first straight part 26; a pressing member 22 expanding/contracting corresponding to the tapered part 27 and provided with a pressing part 45 engageable with the second straight part 28; and a grip part 23 provided on the opposite side of the pressing part 45 of the guide part 48, manually pressed and operated.
