<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in that in the rice seedling transplanting work of a process of completing the seedling transplantation, it is hard to maintain the depth control of the rice seedling transplantation surely and stably since the thrust of rear end of a sensor float for controlling the seedling transplantation depth, deeply into the soil surface, or the like are caused by the change of the depth, inclination or the like of soil surface at a furrow in the completion work of the seedling transplantation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This device for operating the rice seedling transplantation is provided by constituting that a transplanting crutch 3 is cut off by the detection of an ascending/descending sensor, and also elevating the rice seedling-transplanting device to a highest position, when the elevated position of the seedling-transplanting device is positioned at or higher than a prescribed height by the operation of transplantation completion switch 4.
