PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic cash processor for preventing the fault of the input/output port of coins or paper money. SOLUTION: This automatic cash processor for dealing with cash is provided with: an imaging means for imaging at least either an input/output port where paper money is input/output or an input/output port where coins are input/output; a storage means for storing the image of the input/output port as basic image data when there is no a foreign matter; an image comparison means for comparing image data imaged by the imaging means with the basic image data, and for detecting the foreign matter from the difference of the image change; and an input/output port control means for controlling the opening/closing of a door installed in the input/output port according to whether or not the foreign matter has been detected by the image comparison means.
