PURPOSE: A ultraviolet rays sterilizing system and an operation controlling method thereof are provided to improve sterilization processing efficiency by controlling a flow rate, and to predict a replacement period of an ultraviolet lamp. CONSTITUTION: An ultraviolet rays sterilizing system includes the following: an automatic shut-off valve(120) selectively blocking raw water supplied from a water supply pipe(110); a filtering device(140) filtering raw water and is connected to the rear side of the automatic shut-off valve; a sterilization chamber(150) with a UV light emitting part(151) sterilizing the filtered raw water; a UV sensor(160) detecting illumination of UV light; and a control panel(190) with a control part capable of opening and closing the automatic shut-off valve. |
