<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording sheet which has a support made of a base neutral paper, and shows successful color developing properties, high quality and high surface strength as well as high head smudge proofness. <P>SOLUTION: This thermal recording paper has a recording layer containing an electron donor (colorless or pale color leuco dye) and an electron receptor (developer), and an overcoat layer formed on a support. As a means to solve the problem, the support is made of a base neutral paper, and a thermal recording layer contains a mixture, as a developer, of a 4-hydroxy-4'-isopropoxy diphenylsulfone and a 4,4'-[oxybis (ethyleneoxy-p-phenylenesulfonyl)] diphenol as principal components, and a latex of a carboxyl-modified styrene-butadiene-based copolymer, as a binding agent, in an amount of 10 to 20 mass% with respect to the total solid content of the thermal recording layer. In addition, an overcoat layer composed mainly of a water-soluble polymer resin and a pigment, is formed on the thermal recording layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
