<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a processing period of time required for selecting a channel to continuously view broadcast thereon by eliminating the need of a current site detecting means dedicated to a GPS or the like, and also to make a digital broadcast receiver applicable to a system for viewing separate programs via two systems of receivers. <P>SOLUTION: When the receiving status of broadcast being viewed by a receiving and reproducing section A (first receiving means) is deteriorated by moving in a service area, if a receiving status of a receiving and reproducing section B (second receiving means) is excellent, a control section 21 (control means) extracts information on a current site from the information of a broadcasting station viewed by the receiving and reproducing section B (second receiving means) and performs a group station search by determining a physical channel of the first receiving means capable of reception on the current site from the extracted information and the information of the broadcasting station held beforehand in a storage means (storage section 22). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
