<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display system for displaying various pieces of display information on a display device of an existing home electric appliance (client terminal) by use of an electronic device such as a network relay device (router) present in most home networks. <P>SOLUTION: A display information receiving part 12 of the network relay device 10 stores, upon receipt of display information from a server 20, the display information in a display information table 16a. A display information transmitting part 14 of the network relay device 10 determines, based on a state detection result of client terminal by a client terminal state detection part 13, attributes of display information, or the like, determines a display time or display mode for displaying the display information on the client terminal 60, and transmits the display information to the client terminal 60 according to the display time.
