<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-eye headlight for a vehicle capable of emitting light from two light emission surfaces with one light source and switching between a main beam and a low beam without a movable part. <P>SOLUTION: This two-eye headlight for a vehicle includes: a pair of first parabolic reflecting surfaces obtained by dividing the lower side of a light source having two light-light emitting elements in a vertical direction right and left; a pair of second elliptical reflecting surfaces each having a first focus near the light source and having a major axis in a direction to horizontally intersect an illumination direction, right and left above the light source; and a pair of third reflecting surfaces each having a second focus of the elliptical reflecting surface as a focus and having the reflecting direction in an optical axis direction. Thus, light from the one light emission source can be divided into two beams to attain the two-eye headlight for a vehicle with one light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
