<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for screening an inhibitory substance of the infection and proliferation of PSGL-1 receptor-bonding HEV, a method for diagnosing the HEV (Human EnteroVirus) infection, and a medicine for preventing or treating the infectious disease of the HEV. <P>SOLUTION: The infection of the HEV can be diagnosed by using the HEV-bonding PSGL-1 receptor, and detecting its bonding with the HEV. Also, by administering a medicine containing a substance inhibiting the bonding of the HEV-bonding PSGL-1 receptor with the HEV to a patient of HEV infection or a normal healthy person, it is possible to prevent or treat the infection of the HEV mediated by the PSGL-1 receptor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
