<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress influence on braking request determination when abnormality is generated in a stroke sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A brake control device 10 includes: a stroke sensor 46, a stop lamp switch 70, and a brake ECU 200 for determining the abnormality of the stroke sensor 46 and determining whether braking request of a driver is generated based on the output of the stop lamp switch 70 when determined to be abnormality. The brake ECU 200 determines whether there is abnormality in a plurality of the stroke sensors 46, and may determine whether the braking request is generated by combination with input from the stop lamp switch 70 when determining that there is abnormality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
