摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a band dividing apparatus, which converts digital audio signals into low-frequency, medium-frequency and high-frequency analog signals, inexpensively while maintaining signal quality. <P>SOLUTION: A band division processing section 50 converts digital audio signals into low-frequency, medium-frequency and high-frequency digital signals and adder 52 adds the low-frequency and high-frequency digital signals to obtain a digital low/high-frequency signal. The digital medium-frequency signal and the digital low/high-frequency signal are converted into analog signals by DA converters 54, 56, respectively. Thus, the number "2" of DA converters can be made less than the number "3" of bands, thereby achieving remarkable cost reduction. The analog low/high-frequency signal is separated into an analog low-frequency signal and an analog high-frequency signal by LPFs 60, 64 and an HPF 62. Since analog filters for separating frequency bands (with no medium-frequency portion), that are not adjacent to each other, can be accomplished inexpensively, the cost increase caused thereby is very small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
