摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure in high accuracy a proper anti-backflow pressure to prevent the backflow of an objective material into a capillary needle, and enable inhibiting the leakage of the objective material from the capillary needle. SOLUTION: A microinjection system functioning to apply anti-backflow pressure on a capillary needle filled with the objective material to be injected into cells is provided, including: an ejector part functioning to eject the objective material from the tip of the capillary needle; an ejection rate-calculating section functioning to calculate the ejection rate, i.e. an ejection level per unit time of the objective material ejected by the ejector part; a pressure-reducing part functioning to reduce the pressure applied on the capillary needle by the ejector part until the ejection rate calculated by the ejection rate-calculating section comes to a predetermined threshold value; and an anti-backflow-determining part functioning to determine a pressure as the anti-backflow pressure when the ejection rate calculated by the ejection rate-calculating section comes to the predetermined threshold value.
