PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular deceleration device capable of decelerating a vehicle with the braking performance of 1G or larger, and preventing a collision of the vehicle at a low cost. SOLUTION: The vehicular deceleration device is equipped with a suspension device 31 which is provided between a vehicle body 1 constituting the vehicle and a wheel 2, and has a coil spring providing telescopic motion according to a load applied to the wheel 2, and a collision prediction unit 34 for predicting the collision of the vehicle when the collision prediction unit 34 predicts the collision. An expansion device 32 for reversibly expanding the coil spring when the collision prediction unit 34 predicts the collision is provided at the vehicular deceleration device 3 arranged to brake the rotation of the wheel 2.
