<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve braking force control for hill-hold without using a slope sensor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A vehicular braking force control device includes: a brake ECU 4 and a brake driving unit 5, which generate a braking force to a vehicle according to brake operation; a brake sensor 7, which detects the brake operation; a resolver sensor 6, which detects the movement of the vehicle; and a main control ECU 3, which, based on the detection results of the brake sensor 7 and resolver sensor 6, generates and maintains the braking force that is generated immediately before detecting the movement and that stops the vehicle when movement is detected due to the release of the brake operation of the vehicle made to stop by the braking force generated according to the brake operation.
